This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Manage all components of designated healthcare projects.
• Support partners, planners, and associates in analyzing project feasibility.
• Oversee the qualification, selection, and contract negotiations of architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Assess, negotiate, and authorize additional work requests.
• Supervise programming and planning activities.
• Conduct site evaluations and investigations.
• Create and uphold detailed budgets and schedules for development.
• Secure necessary public project approvals, including CON, zoning, annexation, site plan, and wetlands approvals.
• Offer design guidance and oversee the entire design process.
• Evaluate design development and construction documentation.
• Direct general contractor or construction manager qualification, selection, and contract negotiations.
• Assess construction allowances, contingencies, and general conditions.
• Provide construction administration in line with company policies and procedures.
• Review and negotiate change order requests.
• Monitor contractor performance and identify potential risks.
• Coordinate the development of physician office suites.
• Manage project costs and generate monthly budget reports and invoices.
• Oversee the selection, procurement, delivery, and installation of medical equipment, signage, and furniture.
• Prepare monthly reports for clients.
• Develop project overview and status presentations for client administration, boards, and board committees.
• Advocate for company services through thought leadership, speaking engagements, client leadership, and/or business development.
• Collaborate across the organization to meet client and company objectives.
• Utilize e-Builder software throughout various projects.
• Embrace the company culture and promote collaborative work.
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred, or at least 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare project management, handling projects valued between $5 million to $50 million.
• Candidates with at least 10 years of experience in non-healthcare sectors, such as commercial or mixed-use projects, will be considered based on the complexity and size of their projects.
• Proven track record in leading planning, design, preconstruction, contract negotiations, cost control, scheduling, and team coordination efforts.
• Exceptional skills in project budgeting, contract negotiation, and scheduling.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with proficiency in data analysis for clients and teams.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the capability to engage with executive-level external and internal healthcare clients.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, work independently, and effectively manage all facets of construction projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Windows applications.
• Experience with e-Builder is highly preferred.
