Project Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze project specifications and performance requirements to identify suitable equipment designs.

• Offer engineering and technical assistance to Project Management for Original Equipment initiatives.

• Provide technical support to the Aftermarket team as required.

• Deliver technical insights on manufacturing or processing methods, materials, properties, benefits, and limitations.

• Collaborate with personnel to address issues and create effective product designs.

• Develop and assess technical datasheets, encompassing both regular and ISF formats.

• Review general arrangement and detailed drawings.

• Oversee the creation of product or system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.

• Assess field installations and suggest design modifications as needed.

• Evaluate and endorse structural designs where applicable.

• Conduct analytical calculations to ensure equipment adheres to governing codes and regulations.

• Engage in new product and product development strategies.

• Travel to customer or vendor locations for meetings or inspections as necessary.

• Stay updated on product and process trends.

• Participate in internal meetings as required.

• Complete project-specific engineering outputs, including equipment specifications, drawings, and Bills of Material reviews.

• Collaborate with vendors, customers, consulting engineers, and representatives on project engineering matters.

• Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.

• Over 8 years of engineering experience.

• Familiarity with ASME VIII Code.

• Knowledge of Pressure Vessel Design.

• Project Execution experience.

• Support experience in Fabrication Shops.

• Experience collaborating with marketing, sales, manufacturing, and vendors regarding product challenges and translating customer needs into product specifications.

• Creativity and analytical engineering skills in applying technologies to new projects.

• Capability to overcome challenges, reach objectives, and adjust to a dynamic environment.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.

• Proficient in using MS Office, Excel, and other standard business software.

• Skilled in AutoCAD (2-D and 3-D).

• U.S. citizenship is required to support U.S. government programs.
