This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
β’ Create and execute the comprehensive project execution strategy in line with the contract.
β’ Act as the representative of GE to the customer, managing the customer interface and relationship effectively.
β’ Oversee both internal and external communications.
β’ Arrange and secure the necessary resources for successful project execution.
β’ Structure the project team, delineating roles, responsibilities, interfaces, and scopes of duties.
β’ Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
β’ Take proactive measures and make decisions to meet financial, scheduling, quality, and safety performance objectives.
β’ Establish, implement, and oversee the Project Quality Plan, associated procedures, and the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Plan.
β’ Formulate the claim management strategy and spearhead any necessary claim-related actions.
β’ Define and update risk management plans while assessing risks and opportunities.
β’ Oversee the project from the sales handover until all obligations are fulfilled at the Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC) or until the handover to the Service Sector.
β’ Enhance the overall project processes and provide constructive feedback to Sales and other business areas.
β’ Build, guide, and mentor the project team.
β’ Establish project goals and objectives, assess performance, and create development plans for functional management.
β’ Develop and track the Master Time Schedule while managing project float to ensure timely completion.
β’ Bachelor's degree in engineering.
β’ 5 to 15 years of relevant experience in the power generation industry.
β’ Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Director.
β’ Experience in international project execution.
β’ Background in large construction (EPC) and on-site experience.
β’ Proficiency in both French and English.
β’ Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening, including reference checks and background verification.
β’ Must possess unrestricted work authorization in Canada.
β’ Preferred experience in the hydroelectric industry.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent commercial experience.
β’ Knowledge in contract law, claim management, and scheduling.
β’ Experience in legal and claim management related to Sales and Purchasing.
