This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Manage a portfolio or program of clinical studies along with the Project Managers tasked with implementing awarded studies.
• Ensure that studies meet therapeutic-area and client-specific needs.
• Act as the face of Indero to clients, maintain satisfaction levels, and communicate program deliverables effectively.
• Guarantee that studies advance in accordance with quality standards, SOPs, GCPs, regulatory requirements, and ICH guidelines.
• Oversee executed contracts and financial components, including study budgets and expenditures.
• Monitor and assess project progress utilizing timelines and tracking/analysis tools.
• Maintain comprehensive therapeutic and/or client-specific knowledge relevant to the assigned portfolio.
• Implement study-specific insights across assigned studies and clients.
• Spearhead contingency planning and risk-mitigation initiatives.
• Provide operational input for proposal development and pricing, including operational strategy.
• Propel performance enhancement, operational efficiencies, and innovative strategies.
• Offer line-management oversight and contribute to Project Management leadership as an expert in operational and therapeutic areas.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in the industry.
• At least 5 years of experience at a CRO.
• A minimum of 10 years in clinical project management, covering all project phases from initiation to closure, including functional services and vendor management.
• Experience in conducting trials related to dermatology or rheumatology is essential.
• Familiarity with mid-size and large studies (more than 10–15 countries) across various regions (NA, SA, APAC, MENA, Europe) is preferred.
• Proven experience leading concurrent multicentered, multinational Phase III clinical trials, with a focus on project budget financial tracking and forecasting.
• Significant experience in project supervision, mentoring, and coaching of project managers.
• Extensive experience in business development activities, including proposal development, client presentations, and bid defense meetings.
• Involvement in mentoring and coaching a representative number of project managers.
• Bachelor of Science in a relevant field.
• PMP or PRINCE2 Certification is advantageous.
• A Master's degree is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practices and relevant Health Canada and FDA regulations/guidelines.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in Europe.
