Project Director – Bridges and Major Structures – International Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design of both new and existing structures, such as bridges, viaducts, and underground facilities.

• Ensure the technical integrity, timely completion, and financial oversight of projects.

• Handle contractual issues with clients and partners.

• Assist teams with intricate technical challenges.

• Cultivate client relationships and respond to tenders in France.

• Propel international growth, especially for major bridges, in partnership with the Group’s subsidiaries.

• Advocate for the division’s expertise within civil engineering professional networks.

• Engage in strategic conversations regarding innovation, artificial intelligence, and existing infrastructure.

• Gradually assume responsibility for the organization and management of the division.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.

• Around 15 years of experience in designing bridges and large structures, preferably in an engineering consultancy or design management setting.

• Proven experience in project management.

• International experience, particularly with major structures, is advantageous.

• Initial management experience is a bonus.

• Technically esteemed, capable of assisting teams with complex issues.

• Strong understanding of contractual matters.

• Well-established network within the civil engineering industry.

• Proficiency in professional English is essential.

• Position located in Lyon or Rueil-Malmaison, France.
