Project Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Take charge of and successfully execute TURN2X projects from inception to RTB / FID-ready status.

• Develop related self-consumption assets, which may include PV, wind, and/or BESS.

• Obtain necessary permits and oversee authority processes from start to finish.

• Secure feedstock and offtake agreements, along with grid connection proposals.

• Coordinate with the internal Land Manager to secure land.

• Manage project budgets, timelines, and development strategies.

• Establish and nurture relationships with municipalities, landowners, utilities, regulators, and local stakeholders.

• Engage in direct negotiations with various stakeholders.

• Proactively identify and address permitting, grid, land, and offtake risks.

• Prepare documentation for investment and internal gate evaluations.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Land teams.

• Create improved, repeatable project-development methodologies.

• Travel frequently as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in renewable energy project development.

• Proven history of advancing projects from early development to advanced stages.

• Full accountability for project results and a strong ownership mentality.

• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to harmonize diverse interests and ensure project continuity.

• Exceptional attention to detail regarding permits, contracts, budgets, and internal documentation.

• Capability to excel in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

• Willingness to challenge traditional project-development methods.

• Proficient in both English and Spanish.

• Located in Madrid.

• Open to frequent travel.
