This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Create documents, drawings, and diagrams that align with client requirements and objectives.

• Develop initial space plans and sketches that incorporate the needs of the client.

• Ensure that space plans and design concepts are safe, functional, visually appealing, and compliant with public health, safety, and welfare standards.

• Choose colors, materials, and finishes to effectively communicate concepts while meeting functional, maintenance, lifecycle, environmental, and safety standards.

• Select and specify furniture, fixtures, equipment, and millwork, including layout drawings and detailed product descriptions.

• Provide contract documentation to assist with furniture pricing, procurement, and installation.

• Collaborate and coordinate with allied design professionals and consultants.

• Verify that construction documents for non-structural and/or non-seismic construction are appropriately signed and sealed for jurisdictional submission.

• Support contract document administration, bids, and negotiations acting as the client’s representative.

• Report on project implementation throughout its progress and upon completion.

• Execute additional duties, responsibilities, and tasks as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a FIDER-accredited institution (NCIDQ certification is a plus).

• At least 1+ years of relevant professional experience.

• Alternatively, any comparable combination of education and experience.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or REVIT and Architectural Desktop.

• Ability to read and evaluate construction documents; provide technical sign-off/approval.

• Knowledge of low voltage, construction materials, design concepts/budgets, constructability, electrical, and HVAC systems.

• Familiarity with the five phases of an interior/architectural project.

• Exceptional internal and external customer service skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills and adept problem-solving abilities.

• Solid Microsoft Office skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Detail-oriented, highly professional, and customer service-focused.

• Ability to sit and/or use a computer for up to 8 hours a day.

• Clear verbal communication skills to ensure understanding.

• Ability to comprehend and interpret information and ideas presented both orally and in writing.

• Proficient in conveying information and ideas clearly in both written and oral formats.

• Capability to utilize visual skills for reading printed materials, graphics, and computer displays.
