Project Designer 3

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and document medium to large-scale solutions with moderate to high complexity based on project specifications.

• Assist in pre-sales initiatives by identifying, defining, and estimating cost-effective solutions that fulfill customer needs.

• Collaborate with Project Management to ensure engineering outputs accurately reflect the project's scope.

• Mentor and guide drafters within the project team to ensure the precision of engineering drawings.

• Oversee resource efforts to stay within the project's budget and timeline.

• Work alongside Sales and Project Management to identify scope changes that require customer clarification and effective scope management.

• Engage in Convergint’s Recruit Awesome People program by referring exceptional talent to the Talent Acquisition Team and hiring managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

• 5-7 years of experience with AutoCAD.

• Advanced technical skills and expertise in AutoDesk Design Review and Bluebeam.

• Proficient in interpreting and understanding construction drawings, as well as architectural and electrical layouts and diagrams.

• Strong understanding of electrical/electronic theory and components.

• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to perform under pressure.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects at once.

• NICET certification III or IV, Revit, or EST is preferred but not mandatory.
