
Project Coordinator, Physician Advocacy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of physician advocacy initiatives throughout British Columbia.
• Offer project and administrative support for committees, working groups, and physician stakeholders.
• Create and maintain project documentation and tracking systems.
• Organize meetings, prepare agendas and supporting materials, document minutes, track timelines and action items, and follow up with stakeholders.
• Generate presentations, summaries, reports, correspondence, and other forms of communication.
• Conduct research and monitor issues related to advocacy files.
• Ensure timely communication with physician members and internal partners.
• Assist in the development and delivery of internal and external communications in collaboration with the Communications team.
• Support physician Sections and Societies by managing membership information and coordinating governance documentation.
• Address new applications and ongoing inquiries.
• Promote information sharing and alignment across initiatives with internal teams, physician leaders, and external partners.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field along with two years of progressive and related experience, or equivalent relevant work experience in place of post-secondary education.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and manage tasks and priorities.
• Experience in project management while balancing multiple activities and projects.
• Familiarity with the BC health care system or general knowledge of it is preferred.
• Strong analytical, logical thinking, evaluative, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management capabilities.
• Excellent diplomacy, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to engage with highly trained professionals and diverse stakeholders.
• Proven experience in dynamic, challenging, and ambiguous environments.
• Exceptional research and writing skills.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in PC-based software, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Skills in budget development and management are an asset.
• Knowledge of learning management systems and communication platforms is a plus.
