This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage and oversee coding audit projects, encompassing timelines, audit tools, auditor communication, deadlines, and progress tracking.
• Address inquiries from clients and resolve issues related to audit projects.
• Suggest auditor assignments to the Director and/or Manager.
• Assist auditors in setting up remote access and provide support during audits.
• Prepare audit summary reports and conduct quality reviews of preliminary and final audit recommendations.
• Ensure alignment with previous audits and consistency among various auditors.
• Facilitate client exit conferences and conduct coding education sessions.
• Review final reports with clients to confirm their understanding of findings and recommendations.
• Execute audits and provide education as necessary.
• Mentor and train new auditors.
• Carry out annual peer-to-peer reviews and offer feedback and educational support to auditors.
• Train and assist colleagues on auditing tools and audit software.
• Ensure accurate recording of time, attendance, and production entries.
• Identify opportunities to enhance sales of Coding Audit Services.
• Contribute insights on improvements for audit software, reporting, and data analytics capabilities.
• Supervise colleagues who do not have supervisory responsibilities.
• In-depth knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Comprehensive understanding of PPS reimbursement systems, including MS-DRG, APR-DRG, APC, and RBRVS.
• At least one year of project management experience overseeing contract deliverables in a healthcare environment.
• Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

• Preferred: experience with all patient modalities and strong Professional Fee expertise.
• Preferred: experience with encoder/grouper software products.
• Preferred: experience in large teaching university facilities.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
• Capable of writing reports and procedure manuals.
• Proficient in preparing and presenting information, as well as addressing questions from managers, clients, providers, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to apply common sense and basic logic to execute written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
• Competent in performing basic mathematical operations.
• Proficient in reading and writing in English.
• Ability to bend, twist, lift materials up to 25 lbs., and perform tasks such as standing, walking, sitting, crawling, reaching, speaking, and hearing.
• Flexible remote work arrangement.
• Salary range of $75,000 to $90,000 annually.
