This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Assist in the operations of a residential utility energy efficiency program that offers financial incentives to qualifying customers.
• Monitor, track, and report on project progress and essential performance indicators.
• Maintain forecasts, dashboards, and performance metrics for the program.
• Aid field staff and participating subcontractors by coordinating tasks and addressing operational inquiries.
• Engage in communication with subcontractors, customers, and internal program teams.
• Define program guidelines, troubleshoot barriers to participation, and escalate issues as necessary.
• Facilitate the onboarding of subcontractors and ensure ongoing engagement.
• Contribute to enhancements in processes, operational efficiency, customer experience, and quality assurance.
• Uphold program documentation, records, and tracking systems to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Execute additional responsibilities that support program operations and organizational objectives.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Energy, Communications, Environmental Studies, Business Administration, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be accepted (one year of experience can replace one year of education).
• Candidates must reside in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is necessary.
• Willingness to travel (10%) and occasionally stay overnight for work-related purposes.
• Preferred: 1–3 years of experience in energy efficiency, construction management, HVAC, building sciences, or related areas.
• Preferred: Additional education or formal training in Business, Accounting, or Construction Management.
• Preferred: Professional certifications such as BPI, CEM, or other industry-recognized qualifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are required.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work autonomously, and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
• Commitment to ethical business practices, confidentiality, and the protection of proprietary information.
• Bilingual abilities in English and another language are a plus.
