This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Lead the management of costs and analytics for a diverse range of complex capital projects.
• Develop, supervise, and execute project cost management procedures.
• Prepare and evaluate the status of project costs.
• Implement cost control measures throughout all project phases and across various delivery models.
• Act as the primary cost lead, providing oversight for projects or managing collections of smaller projects.
• Apply project control principles and best practices to help achieve departmental objectives.
• Oversee cost control systems and reporting, including variance analysis and forecasting activities.
• Deliver precise and timely reports to all organizational levels, from task-level personnel to senior management.
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, schedulers, risk analysts, technical leads, and financial analysts.
• Manage the cost, schedule, and budget for assigned deliverables, including Performance and Cost Control Plans.
• Coordinate resources to ensure high-quality submissions of client deliverables.
• Evaluate project control processes to identify challenges and encourage ongoing improvements.
• Contribute to the development of functional strategies and the maintenance of program governance.
• Create work instructions, templates, checklists, and desktop guides.
• Identify systemic issues, assist in resolving them, and document lessons learned.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Engineering, Finance, Data Science) or equivalent experience.
• Proven team leadership skills.
• Over 8 years of experience in project management, project controls, or cost engineering.
• Familiarity with project control systems such as Primavera P6 and EVMS platforms.
• Experience in working with large datasets and integrating data across various systems.
• Proficiency in coding (e.g., Python, VBA, and SQL).
• Ability to create structured, scalable work processes.
• Experience with contemporary data tools (e.g., Power BI, SharePoint integration) is preferred.
• Advanced skills in Excel, including modeling, pivot tables, and complex formula creation.
