This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist Program Management Teams with the financial oversight of projects and programs.
• Create, evaluate, and update project and program budgets, forecasts, Estimates at Completion (EACs), reporting, and analysis.
• Organize contract kick-off meetings and guarantee effective setup in CostPoint, including billing, accounting, and financial contractual compliance.
• Collaborate with the Accounting department to address project setup and expenditure discrepancies.
• Establish and manage CostPoint project workforce and monitor personnel spending against budgets.
• Supervise project and program expenditures to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Analyze financial performance, pinpoint budget or forecast variances, and propose corrective measures.
• Oversee subcontractor/vendor costs, manage purchase requests, purchase orders, invoices, payments, and provide accrual support.
• Work alongside Purchasing to ensure subcontractor funding aligns with prime contracts.
• Monitor program risks and confirm that mitigation strategies are implemented.
• Prepare or assist with client status reports, integrated program reviews, and on-demand financial inquiries.
• Review and authorize client invoices while resolving billing and unbilled-charge concerns.
• Track, monitor, and predict labor and non-labor project expenditures.
• Manage labor-category spending on Time & Materials contracts with established labor-category ceilings.
• Assist with price proposals and cost estimates in collaboration with the Pricing and Program Management teams.
• Support federal agency audits as well as internal and external audits.
• Contribute to the development or enhancement of project-control processes, procedures, and systems.
• Minimum of 3 years of Project Control experience supporting projects and programs for a government contractor.
• Familiarity with Fixed Firm Price (FFP), Time & Materials (T&M), Cost Plus, and Cost-Plus Award Fee contract types.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint.
• Excellent communication and cross-department collaboration abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on accuracy and consistency.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Only U.S. Citizens are eligible to receive a security clearance.
