Programme/Delivery Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire sprint cycle, from the planning phase to release.

• Transform approved change requests and roadmap initiatives into implementable sprint plans.

• Conduct sprint planning and distribute tasks among developers and contractors based on established capacity.

• Safeguard sprints from mid-cycle scope alterations in collaboration with the Tech Director and Heads of Tech.

• Schedule QA periods and User Acceptance Testing in alignment with the delivery timeline.

• Manage the release timetable and resource availability planning.

• Everfield assists European vertical-market and specialist software firms with talent acquisition, HR, and financial and operational expertise.

• Depotnet offers work management software tailored for utilities and infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong skills in capacity planning, capable of distributing tasks among developers and contractors within known limitations.

• Able to politely decline requests and protect the team from mid-cycle scope expansion.

• Sufficient technical knowledge to question estimates and engage in meaningful discussions with developers.

• Proficient in Azure DevOps.

• A dynamic and energetic approach, with the resilience to handle competing priorities.

• Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders and building rapport as a collaborative team member.
