Renewals Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete renewals process, including the negotiation and management of commercial contracts.

• Work collaboratively with Sales and Customer Success teams to pinpoint risks and ensure timely renewals.

• Examine usage trends and customer health metrics to proactively address potential churn risks.

• Proactively engage with customers prior to renewal dates to evaluate satisfaction, resolve any issues, and pinpoint opportunities for expansion.

• Keep precise renewal forecasts utilizing tools such as Salesforce and Clari.

• Consistently surpass quarterly and annual retention objectives.

• Foster and maintain strong customer relationships.

• Drive the commercial components of the renewal process.

• Partner with Account Managers, Customer Success, and senior leadership to facilitate long-term customer success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing SaaS or enterprise software renewals, customer relationships, or commercial negotiations.

• A history of meeting retention, sales, or other commercial goals.

• Capability to autonomously handle complex negotiations while balancing customer requirements with business objectives.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

• Strong judgment, ownership, and a proactive mindset for identifying and mitigating risks.

• Proficiency in working with CRM systems, forecasting tools, and customer data.

• A collaborative attitude and a readiness to mentor colleagues and enhance team processes.

• Familiarity with finance or FP&A is advantageous.
