📋 Description

• Lead the execution of intricate telecommunications and network technology initiatives, overseeing several interconnected projects.

• Facilitate coordination among project managers and cross-functional teams, including network engineering, IT, operations, vendors, and business stakeholders.

• Supervise and direct contractors or external project leaders implementing projects within the program.

• Create and sustain comprehensive project plans that encompass scope, timelines, dependencies, and sequencing.

• Establish and uphold program governance along with consistent delivery standards.

• Identify and manage program and project-level risks, issues, and dependencies, driving mitigation strategies and escalation processes.

• Enhance resource allocation and capacity planning across various workstreams.

• Track financial performance at the program and project levels, including budgets, forecasts, and alignment of funding.

• Convey program status, timelines, impacts, and risks to leadership and stakeholders effectively.

• Promote continuous improvement in program management processes and delivery practices.

• Ensure operational readiness and facilitate the transition to production and field teams.

• Align program outcomes with strategic objectives and monitor and report on benefits realization.

• Perform additional duties as necessary to support the business and its evolving needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

• At least five (5) years of experience in project or program management within telecommunications, technology, or a related area.

• Demonstrated experience leading programs involving multiple projects or complex technology initiatives.

• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, platforms, and telecommunications environments.

• Proven success in coordinating cross-functional teams in dynamic settings.

• Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capacity to impose structure, clarity, and execution discipline on ambiguous or complex initiatives.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret technical information and convey it to business stakeholders.

• Candidates must currently be authorized to work in the US for any employer.

• Preferred: Experience in network modernization, transformation, or infrastructure projects.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.

• Preferred: Proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, and Confluence.

• Preferred: Keen attention to detail and capability to manage multiple priorities.

• Preferred: Ability to work autonomously while collaborating across teams.

• Preferred: Skill in influencing and motivating cross-functional partners.

• Preferred: Experience managing vendor or partner relationships, including oversight of contract deliverables and performance.

• Preferred: Solid understanding of business operations workflows and the project deployment lifecycle, comprising design, build, test, and launch phases.

• Preferred: Experience creating program-level dashboards, reporting, and performance metrics.

• Ability to work independently and apply sound judgment and reasoning skills to diverse situations.

• Ability to multitask and collaborate effectively with various personnel to meet deadlines.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with attention to detail and organizational capabilities.

• Ability to operate within critical deadlines.
