This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee the daily implementation of the Teaching Academy within a designated portfolio of school and district partners.
• Ensure that programming is carried out in accordance with set expectations, timelines, and desired outcomes.
• Familiarize yourself with curricula, program materials, and implementation guidelines to assist facilitators and partners.
• Implement annual program plans, calendars, milestones, and deliverables.
• Monitor site implementation, curriculum advancement, program milestones, and necessary deliverables.
• Assess program quality, health, and fidelity through data analysis, observations, facilitator feedback, apprentice experiences, and partner involvement.
• Identify gaps in implementation, challenges, and emerging issues, and communicate these to program leadership.
• Collaborate with the Managing Director and cross-functional teams to implement solutions and program modifications.
• Maintain program documentation, trackers, implementation tools, and management systems.
• Gather and organize qualitative and quantitative program data for progress tracking, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Manage and support a designated group of Teaching Academy facilitators as their primary curriculum and implementation contact.
• Foster supportive and accountable relationships with facilitators.
• Lead Summer Training, implementation sessions, and ongoing professional learning experiences.
• Conduct virtual coaching and professional learning sessions.
• Perform site visits, observations, and coaching sessions, providing actionable instructional feedback.
• Offer year-round on-call curriculum and implementation support.
• Track facilitator progress and tailor coaching based on the needs of facilitators and sites.
• Assist high school apprentices in developing rigorous, affirming, and developmentally appropriate experiences.
• Aid apprentices in cultivating educator identity, Black liberatory mindsets, servant leadership, civic awareness, and readiness for post-secondary education and careers.
• Support apprentice transitions into additional CBED programs, including FSLA and FTEF.
• Act as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned school and district partners.
• Conduct partner check-ins, communicate expectations and deliverables, and follow up on agreed actions.
• Resolve implementation challenges and escalate significant risks or partnership issues.
• Assist in onboarding and launching implementations for new sites.
• Represent the Teaching Academy at partner meetings, events, and external forums.
• Monitor program data and implementation trends, providing updates to leadership.
• Gather stakeholder feedback and suggest enhancements to tools, processes, resources, and practices.
• Collaborate with teams in Curriculum Design, Program Operations, Data & Evaluation, and others.
• Support special projects and program initiatives related to the implementation and growth of the Teaching Academy.
• A Bachelor's degree in education or a related field is preferred.
• At least two years of relevant experience in education, educator development, youth development, program implementation, or a similar area.
• Experience in supporting educational programming, school or district partnerships, or youth development initiatives is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in coaching, developing, or supporting educators or facilitators.
• Strong understanding of secondary education and the developmental needs of high school students.
• Experience with Career and Technical Education (CTE) or educator pathway programming is an advantage.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple sites, timelines, deliverables, and priorities concurrently.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain precise program documentation and data.
• Skill in using qualitative and quantitative information to detect trends, monitor progress, and identify implementation needs.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to problem-solve, exercise sound judgment, and recognize when to escalate challenges or concerns.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative, mission-driven team.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly, approximately 30%, to Teaching Academy sites and partner communities.
