Program Manager III – SSBCI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +14 more states.

📋 Description

• Enhance program efficiency, service levels, and value by monitoring performance and pinpointing areas for improvement.

• Plan, organize, supervise, and direct multiple simultaneous projects utilizing cross-functional teams.

• Oversee the comprehensive SSBCI program across business operations, data, technology, vendors, compliance, customer service, enrollment, and member experience.

• Establish structure, manage interdependencies, clarify requirements, assign ownership, set timelines, make decisions, and outline next steps.

• Identify gaps and risks, distinguish between immediate safeguards and long-term solutions, drive issues to resolution, and provide updates on progress, risks, decisions, and member impact.

• Discover opportunities to enhance efficiency, elevate service levels, and ensure compliance with regulations through improved operations.

• Formulate improvement strategies and guarantee organizational prioritization and resource alignment.

• Oversee projects throughout the entire project life cycle, including requirements gathering, planning, scheduling, resource management, budgeting, execution, deployment, and closure.

• Utilize corporate and industry-standard project management tools and methodologies.

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including action items, issue logs, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Relay project status to stakeholders through executive summaries and presentations.

• Negotiate with stakeholders to secure resources, resolve challenges, and mitigate risks.

• Facilitate cross-functional meetings to fulfill stakeholder expectations and achieve company objectives.

• Provide both functional and technical expertise regarding program requirements and operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Master’s degree is preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience in project implementation, product, or program management.

• Preferred experience in managed care or prescription benefit management.

• Experience with Medicare Advantage, D-SNP, SSBCI, or healthcare operations is preferred.

• Preferred background in complex program management within a matrixed organization.

• Experience with cross-functional business and technology initiatives is preferred.

• Familiarity with data reporting, operational controls, testing, or readiness is preferred.

• Preferred experience in vendor management, customer service, or member-experience operations.

• Comfort with eligibility logic, data flows, file ingestion, system interfaces, crosswalks, member indicators, reporting, reconciliation, testing, validation, controls, root-cause analysis, and downstream operational impact.

• PMP or PgMP certification is required.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
