Program Manager II – Recovery Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Strategically plan, organize, supervise, and manage programs through cross-functional teams to ensure defined requirements are met and business needs and strategic goals are achieved.

• Act as the main coordinator for Recovery Operations and Recovery Platform initiatives.

• Organize tasks across operational, business, and technology teams.

• Facilitate discussions with internal stakeholders and external partners.

• Oversee issue resolution and guarantee the timely delivery of strategic priorities.

• Track recovery inventory, operational performance, and platform-related initiatives.

• Identify risks and bottlenecks, coordinating remediation efforts with BTS and business teams.

• Provide executive-level updates on program status, issues, and key performance metrics.

• Support initiatives within business departments that enhance quality, safety, and cost-of-care opportunities.

• Collect requirements, develop plans and schedules, manage resources, and facilitate project execution and deployment.

• Utilize corporate and industry-standard tools and methods to manage programs.

• Maintain comprehensive business process documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, issue lists, and risk management plans.

• Develop and track department deliverables to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Communicate program status updates to management and key stakeholders.

• Identify resources, troubleshoot issues, and manage risks.

• Analyze requirements, procedures, and challenges to enhance existing processes.

• Organize cross-functional meetings to align with stakeholder expectations and business objectives.

• Oversee projects throughout the entire project life cycle.

• Provide leadership and communicate project statuses to stakeholders.

• Negotiate with stakeholders to secure resources, resolve issues, and manage risks.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality improvement, program management, or project management is required.

• Experience in healthcare is preferred.

• Preferred experience in supporting healthcare recovery operations, payment integrity, claims operations, revenue cycle, or related healthcare business functions.

• Preferred knowledge in recovery inventory management, operational reporting, workflow optimization, and methodologies for process improvement.

• Preferred experience collaborating with business stakeholders, technology teams (BTS/IT), and external vendors to implement system enhancements and operational initiatives using tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, etc.

• Preferred familiarity with claims processing systems, recovery platforms, workflow management tools, data analytics, and performance reporting.

• Preferred experience leading cross-functional projects involving technology implementations, system integrations, or operational transformation initiatives.

• Preferred certifications in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or other process improvement/project management methodologies.
