This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +1 more state.
β’ Lead and oversee a multidisciplinary team consisting of over 70 personnel.
β’ Offer direction, mentorship, and support while promoting collaboration, inclusion, innovation, and professional development.
β’ Provide technical oversight and guidance across various areas including help desk operations, shipboard deployments, network infrastructure, software development, mobile platforms, cybersecurity, data management, testing, cloud computing, and enterprise service operations.
β’ Ensure that technical solutions are in alignment with project objectives and government standards.
β’ Develop and execute program plans that encompass scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
β’ Monitor the performance of programs, identify and mitigate risks, and guarantee the timely delivery of high-quality outcomes.
β’ Act as a primary point of contact for Navy clients and other stakeholders.
β’ Prepare and deliver briefs, reports, and presentations to senior government officials and company executives.
β’ Ensure adherence to contract stipulations, government regulations, and industry standards.
β’ Implement and uphold best practices in program management, process improvement, and quality assurance.
β’ Navigate high-pressure situations, make informed decisions, and adjust strategies to achieve program goals.
β’ Maintain the Legacy OIS while enhancing OIS Next Gen capabilities for NAVSUP Ordnance Information System users.
β’ A DOD Secret level clearance is required to begin.
β’ U.S. citizenship is necessary to meet federal clearance requirements.
β’ A bachelor's degree along with a minimum of 10 years of experience, or 14 years of experience without a degree.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating efforts across technical, operational, and customer organizations.
β’ Strong program management capabilities, encompassing planning, cost and schedule oversight, risk management, staffing, and performance reporting.
β’ Experience in communicating program status, risks, and recommendations to senior clients and executives.
β’ Ability to prioritize competing demands and make sound decisions in a delivery setting with operational constraints.
β’ Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
β’ Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
β’ Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
β’ Desired: Directive 8570.1/8140 IAT II Security+ certification.
β’ Desired: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or DAU Level III Project Management certification.
β’ Navy IT program experience is preferred.
β’ Experience in logistics, ideally within the DoD, is desired.
β’ Previous experience managing large-scale software development projects is preferred.
