Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the appointed Program Manager and main liaison for the VA, overseeing the complete program lifecycle activities including planning, initiation, execution, monitoring, and closeout in relation to the AI Citizen Developer Ecosystem task order.

• Create, sustain, and implement detailed program management plans, integrated master schedules, risk registers, and status updates.

• Facilitate and direct program governance activities, which encompass stakeholder briefings, steering committee meetings, milestone evaluations, and executive-level reporting to VA leadership and contracting officials.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams, comprising AI developers, data analysts, clinical SMEs, and IT personnel, to synchronize workstreams and deliver cohesive solutions that support VA's healthcare mission and citizen developer strategy.

• Identify, evaluate, and manage program risks, issues, and dependencies; formulate mitigation strategies and escalate significant obstacles to VA stakeholders.

• Ensure program adherence to VA policies, federal acquisition regulations, cybersecurity mandates, and healthcare data privacy standards, including HIPAA.

• Promote continuous process enhancement throughout the program lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in healthcare-related program management, encompassing planning, initiating, managing, executing, and concluding programs in support of an integrated Health Care System.

• A minimum of 6 years experience supporting a large corporation or government agency.

• A Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Public Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.

• Proven experience in supporting federal agency programs, with a preference for candidates who have directly assisted the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal healthcare agency initiatives.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a VA Position of Public Trust clearance (or have an active background investigation on record).

• Must be compliant with VA security and credentialing requirements prior to program access.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without any current or future requirement for visa sponsorship.

• An active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or an equivalent quality project/program management certification (e.g., PgMP, FAC-P/PM, DAWIA) is required at the time of hire.
