This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure that programs, activities, and services meet service agreements and AMR obligations.
• Act as the main staff liaison for assigned committees, aiding them in achieving their goals and objectives.
• Organize and coordinate committee meetings.
• Collaborate with committee chairs to draft meeting agendas.
• Record meeting minutes and follow up on action items.
• Oversee the management of podcasts and webinars in conjunction with committee chairs.
• Update the association's website content and contribute to content creation efforts.
• Address website inquiries and maintain the news, events, and job board sections.
• Remove or conceal outdated website pages.
• Track and report on website analytics.
• Manage online member community support, including troubleshooting, content updates, accuracy checks, and maintenance.
• Build and nurture partnerships with association contacts and sponsors.
• Handle communications across print, online, and social media platforms.
• Consistently share relevant association content and implement strategies to enhance influence and reach.
• Monitor and report on communications analytics.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and respond promptly to member inquiries via phone, email, and web forms.
• Provide support before, during, and after conferences.
• Manage speaker and sponsor programs.
• Serve as the staff liaison for the program committee.
• Create marketing content and gather presentations.
• Effectively manage workload independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with internal teams and volunteer leaders.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least five years of relevant experience in a comparable business or industry.
• Previous experience in association management is advantageous.
• Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with external clients/customers.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities.
• Display tact and professionalism in challenging situations.
• Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to independently oversee projects from initiation to completion.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, monitor deadlines, and ensure follow-through.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and concurrent projects.
• Strong self-motivation and self-discipline, especially when working remotely without constant oversight.
• Ability to take initiative, exercise good judgment, anticipate needs, and proactively seek solutions.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to responsiveness and follow-through.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and its applications.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to accommodate the schedules of association leaders.
• Availability for evening and weekend meetings.
• Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for conferences, board meetings, and other client events.
