This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
β’ Provide strategic direction and governance for a comprehensive enterprise cloud migration initiative transitioning from on-premises data centers to Azure and AWS.
β’ Take responsibility for overall program performance in relation to cost, schedule, scope, and quality benchmarks, including expenditure plans and margins.
β’ Lead the program management team and migration team leaders, ensuring adequate staffing levels.
β’ Develop and oversee the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), monitoring planned versus actual progress against project milestones.
β’ Identify, monitor, and mitigate program risks and issues, escalating to customer and AIS leadership as necessary.
β’ Act as the primary escalation contact for the customer within AIS, fostering relationships with customer stakeholders and partner teams.
β’ Deliver regular status updates to both the customer and AIS leadership.
β’ Ensure compliance with contractual obligations regarding scope, service levels, and deliverables through documented customer acceptance.
β’ Authorize subcontractor payments and AIS invoices.
β’ Validate contract scope, deliverables, and acceptance criteria during the first 90 days.
β’ Establish risk management processes, customer reporting mechanisms, and collaborative relationships, steering the program from initial evaluation to the early stages of migration.
β’ Must be a US Citizen.
β’ A minimum of ten years of experience in program and/or project management.
β’ Proven experience in leading enterprise-level cloud migrations to Azure and AWS.
β’ Demonstrated ability to meet contractual commitments, manage risks, and achieve profitability targets.
β’ Proficient in managing an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and coordinating dependencies across multiple concurrent migration efforts.
β’ Intermediate level of proficiency (Career Framework Level 3) in Program, Schedule, Scope, and Stakeholder Management.
β’ Experience in federal program delivery is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with Azure Government or AWS GovCloud environments is preferred.
β’ Possession of a PMP, Scrum Master, or FAC-P/PM certification is preferred.
β’ Knowledge of enterprise IT change management and release processes is preferred.
β’ Previous leadership experience with a proven track record of building high-performing teams is preferred.
