This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Assist in the design and execution of program evaluation and performance measurement initiatives for public health programs.
• Gather, organize, maintain, and verify program and evaluation data to facilitate analysis and reporting efforts.
• Analyze and visualize data utilizing tools such as R and Power BI to aid in program monitoring, evaluation, and decision-making processes.
• Provide support for data requests from program teams, clients, and various stakeholders.
• Create reports, dashboards, presentations, and data summaries to convey program performance, outcomes, and insights.
• Help in identifying, tracking, and enhancing performance indicators and evaluation measures in line with program objectives.
• Perform literature reviews, environmental scans, and other research activities to support evaluation planning and execution.
• Assist in the creation of evaluation tools, data collection instruments, and related documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams to carry out monitoring and evaluation activities and drive continuous improvement efforts.
• Engage in client meetings and actively contribute to discussions surrounding evaluation strategies, findings, and recommendations.
• Bachelor's degree.
• ONE (1) or more years of pertinent experience in supporting program evaluation, public health research, data analytics, performance measurement, or related consulting activities.
• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST."
• Preference will be given to candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY.
• Proficient in using analytical tools for data analysis.
• Experienced with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization platforms.
• Knowledgeable in evaluation concepts, logic models, performance measurement, and applied research methodologies.
• Experienced in cleaning, managing, and analyzing structured datasets.
• Familiar with supporting projects for federal or state public health agencies.
• Understanding of public health surveillance, program evaluation, data governance, and privacy requirements.
• Skilled in developing Power BI dashboards and data visualizations for non-technical audiences.
• Proficient with SQL, Python, Tableau, or other advanced analytics and data management tools.
• Experienced in supporting monitoring, evaluation, learning, or quality improvement initiatives.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary public trust clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
