Program Director – Technician Education

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary or co-primary investigator from a two-year institution.

• Create or revise technician curricula and stackable credentials in collaboration with industry partners.

• Facilitate professional development for faculty and oversee lab or equipment planning.

• Attract and assist students, including those from underrepresented backgrounds.

• Collaborate with evaluators to assess student and program success.

• Provide qualifications and narratives of past performance for WIL proposals upon authorization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Faculty member, dean, or administrator at a community or technical college.

• Proven experience in developing technician education programs within advanced technology sectors.

• Background in industry partnership development.

• Experience in leading or supporting education projects funded by grants.

• Ability to work as a project-based contract collaborator; remote positions available within the US.

• Previous experience as a primary or co-primary investigator on federal technician-education grants (preferred).

• Experience in electric vehicle, automotive, or electrical technology programs (preferred).

• Familiarity with collaborating with external evaluators (preferred).
