Program Cost Controls Principal Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver financial analysis and reporting for a range of programs, encompassing all cost elements.

• Assist in monthly program status assessments, Estimate at Completion (EAC) evaluations, and the development of the Program Latest Revised Estimate (LRE).

• Conduct Earned Value Management (EVM) cost and schedule evaluations for production programs in line with relevant EVMS standards.

• Aid management in the preparation and submission of monthly financial forecasts.

• Contribute to special projects, including Gate Reviews, proposals, Requests for Information (RFIs), Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates, invoicing, balance sheet tasks, and funding analysis.

• Facilitate the cash management process, which includes invoicing and tracking customer payments.

• Assist in cost strategy initiatives for competitive and strategic proposals.

• Generate financial analysis and reporting for program management and functional departments.

• Examine program cost and schedule information and report variances against established financial plans and forecasts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in SAP financial systems, including APEX, PRISM, and/or Business Warehouse/Analysis for Office (BW/AO).

• Familiarity with Raytheon PMX or a comparable financial management system.

• Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), program controls, cost and schedule oversight, and/or Estimate at Completion (EAC) procedures.

• EVMS certification or the ability to secure EVMS certification within 6 months of employment.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Proven ability to prepare and present financial briefings to management, clients, and colleagues.

• Experience working with SAP, Business Warehouse (BW), APEX, and/or APEX EV.

• Proficient in using PMX for program financial management, forecasting, or reporting.

• Track record of managing multiple financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting tasks with set deadlines.

• Experience in cost and schedule analysis for production programs.

• Background in monthly financial forecasting and Estimate at Completion (EAC) development.

• Experience assisting with proposal cost estimates, Gate Reviews, Requests for Information (RFIs), and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates.

• Familiarity with program invoicing, customer receipts, cash management, balance sheet tasks, or funding analysis.

• Experience in analyzing financial and program data and formulating supportive recommendations.

• Familiarity with Raytheon Technologies projects, programs, financial systems, or program control processes.

• Experience applying financial systems and program control processes to program reporting and analysis.
