This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
β’ Assist in the daily operations of 1β3 state stewardship programs.
β’ Act as the program ambassador and primary contact for collection-site customers.
β’ Provide program value throughout the entire customer journey.
β’ Onboard customers as a subject matter expert through all phases, utilizing both personalized outreach and automation.
β’ Efficiently manage a high volume of activities through phone, email, and website communications.
β’ Perform regular outreach through site visits, phone calls, and emails to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve KPIs.
β’ Collaborate with senior leadership, project teams, and internal departments to enhance account relationships and improve collection program performance.
β’ Maintain thorough and accurate customer records.
β’ Compile and analyze data-based metrics, dashboards, and reports.
β’ Suggest ongoing improvements based on program performance and customer engagement.
β’ Ensure that regulated state performance objectives, accessibility targets, and battery collection volumes are achieved.
β’ Partner with Customer Success to manage collection-site inquiries.
β’ Prepare for and participate in relevant regional recycling conferences.
β’ Travel up to approximately 50% for customer visits, training, meetings, and occasional organization-wide gatherings.
β’ At least three (3) years of relevant experience in program coordination, customer service, inside sales, account support, or a related area; OR a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of one (1) year of demonstrated program coordination, program management, customer support, sales, customer service, or similar experience.
β’ Comprehends the interdependence of activities necessary to deliver top-tier sustainability and recycling initiatives.
β’ Must be authorized to work legally in the United States for The Battery Network, with or without sponsorship.
β’ Experience in supporting high-growth, customer-facing programs or initiatives is preferred.
β’ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM software is preferred.
β’ General knowledge of the recycling, environmental, stewardship, or sustainability sectors is preferred.
β’ Working knowledge of environments related to environmental, sustainability, retail, nonprofit, or producer responsibility organizations is preferred.
β’ Exposure to environmental regulations, compliance programs, or stewardship initiatives is preferred.
β’ Capable of managing multiple projects while meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
β’ Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational abilities.
β’ Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
β’ Strong skills in building relationships and engaging with customer-focused stakeholders.
β’ Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, customers, contractors, and partners.
β’ Capable of exercising sound judgment, maintaining confidentiality, working independently, and demonstrating a sense of urgency.
β’ Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills.
β’ Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment.
