This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as the primary local customer contact and provide daily work direction for assigned personnel at designated accounts.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and uphold Service Excellence in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Utilize knowledge of customer contracts to guarantee that all obligations are fulfilled.
• Prioritize service needs, allocate personnel, and follow up on commitments effectively.
• Support the Director of Service or Manager of Clinical Engineering with performance reviews, status updates, promotions, disciplinary matters, and inquiries.
• Participate in on-call duties or handle escalations related to service calls.
• Act as Site Leader and cultivate customer relationships at assigned locations.
• Assure service quality through regular customer interaction and structured quality assessments.
• Timely and accurately file expense reports, time records, and service documentation.
• Monitor and evaluate financial performance in collaboration with the Director of Service or Manager of Clinical Engineering.
• Oversee approved parts inventory and manage vendor service delivery in line with GE policies.
• Keep abreast of current standards for the safe and effective operation of medical equipment.
• Train hospital staff on equipment usage, diagnostics, effective operation, and repair.
• Comply with Health and Human Services, Environmental Health and Safety, and other relevant regulatory standards.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and colleagues.
• Complete quality and compliance training, report quality concerns raised by customers, document work orders and related tasks, conduct monthly site safety inspections, and ensure timely tracking and calibration of test equipment.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, along with 4+ years of experience in servicing medical equipment; OR equivalent military education and 4+ years of experience in medical equipment servicing; OR a High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of experience in servicing medical equipment.
• At least four years of experience as a Biomedical Technician.
• One year of progressive experience in team leadership, effectively supervising and mentoring technical staff and addressing customer relations challenges.
• Relevant experience in a customer service setting with a solid understanding of customer account coordination.
• Experience in managing financial and administrative responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of clearly explaining technical matters to customers.
• Ability to evaluate metrics and reports (SEDs).
• Proficiency in electronic documentation using tools like iPad and iPhone.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel outside the designated region.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Compliance with GEHC quality, safety, regulatory, documentation, training, reporting, inspection, and calibration standards is required.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
