Program Associate – Fellowship

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the educational programming for fellows in all five U.S. communities, managing logistics, materials, communications, attendance, and learning platforms.

• Assist in the planning and implementation of Activate’s yearly Fellowship Retreat.

• Develop and sustain Fellowship resources, including guides, templates, and educational materials.

• Organize the Chief Fellowship Officer’s calendar, including scheduling, meeting coordination, and administrative tasks.

• Maintain and analyze program data, producing straightforward analyses and visualizations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Fellowship programs, events, and operational priorities.

• Address special projects and emerging priorities as they arise.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in program coordination, operations, project management, administrative support, or a related field.

• Proficient in working with data, including basic analysis, visualization, and effectively presenting findings.

• Technologically adept and enthusiastic about utilizing new tools, including AI applications.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple workstreams and ensuring follow-through.

• Adaptable and resourceful, comfortable navigating challenges without a predefined playbook.

• Communicates in a clear and professional manner and collaborates effectively with a diverse range of individuals and teams.

• Passionate about Activate’s mission and eager to learn about science entrepreneurship and innovative technologies.

• Resides near one of Activate’s U.S. hubs: SF Bay Area, Boston, New York, or Houston, or is willing to relocate.
