This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Act as the main point of contact for Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and program partners, facilitating communication and involvement with utility energy efficiency initiatives.
• Support outreach efforts, partner engagement, and the ongoing management of relationships.
• Represent the utility and the program at community events, outreach functions, and partner meetings by managing information tables, interacting with the public, and offering program details and assistance.
• Collect, review, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of program data, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Generate weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor project activities, milestones, deliverables, and deadlines utilizing database systems and project tracking tools.
• Evaluate partner activities and documentation to confirm compliance with program standards.
• Recognize and escalate issues, propose solutions, and communicate any potential scheduling or project conflicts.
• Create and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and project documentation.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to address data, process, and documentation challenges to ensure effective program execution.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree or over 2 years of relevant experience in customer service, energy efficiency, or collaboration with community-based organizations.
• Self-driven and highly organized, capable of prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
• Results-oriented and proficient in collaborating across all organizational levels to fulfill commitments and achieve objectives.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, OneNote, and Teams.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Willingness and capability to frequently travel across the state of Illinois, including visits to Community-Based Organizations, program events, outreach activities, and regional meetings and training sessions.
• A strong interest in sustainability and a passion for creating a positive impact on the environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, the public, and all levels of internal staff.
• Outstanding attention to detail, time management, and organizational abilities.
• Self-motivated with strong follow-through skills.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
• Successful completion of a thorough background check and reference verification.
