This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Promote, sell, and demonstrate RIDGID and Greenlee tools and equipment
• Advocate the entire product range to end users in electrical, mechanical, utility, plumbing, and industrial sectors
• Build relationships with customers at all levels of the client hierarchy
• Engage with local union and non-union training centers to conduct apprenticeship and journeyman training
• Clearly communicate and demonstrate the Faster-Safer-Easier value proposition
• Create and implement strategies to specify and standardize products with key end-user clients
• Document demonstrations, training sessions, and opportunities utilizing the 360 data capture application
• Timely submission of presentations, expense reports, and other plans
• Collaborate with Product Managers on leads from regional, national, and global construction and utility firms
• Place tools with customers locally and conduct cold calls to potential prospects
• Provide support across multiple territories and channels with PTS Leads
• Follow up on pre-qualified leads from sales managers, product managers, distributor sales, and clients
• Work together with RIDGID/Greenlee team members, end-user clients, and distribution partners
• Share leads, competitive insights, and market trends with the sales team
• Comprehend end-user needs and challenges and convey suitable solutions
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager
• At least 3 years of experience in tool applications
• Strong mechanical aptitude concerning electrical, utility, or plumbing tools
• Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to synthesize extensive information into clear, concise summaries
• Good organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and influencing abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven history of meeting goals and sales targets
• Effective time and territory management capabilities
• Willingness and availability to travel 50%, including overnight stays
• Capability to maintain a valid driver's license and adhere to company driving policies
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver industrial tools and product inventory for demonstrations and trade shows
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available
• Proficiency in MS Outlook is preferred
• Experience with CRM applications is preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or other pipe trades is preferred
• Familiarity with distribution channels is preferred
