This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
• Advocate for and enhance the RIDGID® and Greenlee® product range among end users in the electrical, mechanical, utility, plumbing, industrial, and construction sectors.
• Establish and nurture relationships with tradespeople, supervisors, safety leaders, purchasing professionals, project teams, and business owners.
• Facilitate product demonstrations, training sessions, and educational presentations for customers, apprenticeship programs, and industry professionals.
• Articulate the Faster-Safer-Easier value proposition.
• Create and implement strategies to boost product specification, adoption, and standardization within designated territories and key customer accounts.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Territory Managers, Regional Sales Managers, Professional Tool Specialist Leads, and distribution partners on strategic initiatives, qualified leads, and customer opportunities.
• Record demonstrations, training activities, opportunities, presentations, and expenses utilizing reporting and CRM tools.
• Recognize customer challenges and propose solutions that align with their needs.
• Convey market insights, competitive data, and customer feedback to the wider sales team.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Background in tool applications and a strong mechanical aptitude related to electrical, utility, plumbing, or similar tools.
• A strong preference for experience or knowledge of electrical systems and associated tools.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to distill extensive information into clear and concise messages.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and influencing abilities.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated success in achieving goals and sales targets.
• Excellent time and territory management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Must reside in the Baltimore, MD area to effectively cover the territory.
• Capability to safely lift, carry, and manage various industrial tools and product inventory for demonstrations and trade shows.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook is preferred.
• Experience with CRM applications is an advantage.
• Preferred experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or other pipe trades.
• Experience with distribution channels, especially in industrial, plumbing, and electrical sectors, is preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no current or future sponsorship is needed.
