Professional Services Consultant – Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Implement operational processes and procedures effectively.

• Facilitate the onboarding of new functionalities, asset classes, and managers.

• Offer operational consulting and execution assistance for client onboarding, fund launches, counterparty setups, asset class expansions, reporting initiatives, and platform integrations.

• Perform operational assessments to evaluate client environments, ensuring optimal configuration, adoption of new functionalities, and the establishment of scalable, efficient workflows.

• Provide advice and support for integrations across front-, middle-, and back-office systems, third-party vendors, data warehouses, and reporting platforms.

• Document business processes and technical requirements, design workflows, and maintain an updated repository of operational artifacts.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders on daily operational activities, platform enhancement, and concurrent projects.

• Deliver services related to middle- and back-office operations and onboarding.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 10 years of experience in financial services, Hedge Fund, or financial technology settings within middle- or back-office operations.

• In-depth understanding of instrument valuation across various asset classes including equities, options, futures, fixed income, credit, and FX.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the trade lifecycle, encompassing pre-trade compliance, order generation, execution, confirmation, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.

• Familiarity with buy-side PMS/IBOR/ABOR systems, preferably those offered by SS&C (Advent Geneva, Eze OMS, Eze EMS/Realtick).

• Capability to convey technical and operational concepts clearly to stakeholders with diverse levels of technical expertise.

• Strong analytical abilities along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• High standards of professionalism, keen attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence.
