Professional Services Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Engage and assist clients through essential data and reporting projects.

• Offer strategic advice based on best practices in the industry and the objectives of the client.

• Collaborate with client leadership to shape project direction and set priorities.

• Create contract deliverables such as Statements of Work and time estimates.

• Define the scope of work to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.

• Design dashboards, custom reports, and decision-support tools according to client specifications.

• Develop database queries utilizing T-SQL, PL/SQL, and ANSI/Oracle SQL.

• Ensure the accuracy and quality of data across all deliverables.

• Document and test deliverables thoroughly.

• Draft internal procedures.

• Represent Evisions at industry trade shows and conferences.

• Contribute thought-leadership material for the Higher Education sector.

• Provide support to Sales and other departments as necessary.

• Employ AI tools to expedite query development, documentation, and the preparation of client-facing content.

• Report directly to the VP of Professional Services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 3 years of experience with MAPS and Argos Datablock / Report Writer.

• Familiarity with the Higher Education industry is essential.

• Understanding of Higher Education ERP data is preferred.

• At least 1 year of project management experience.

• Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and PL/SQL is required.

• Skilled in SQL Developer or similar tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent skills in developing and delivering presentations.

• Comfortable interacting with C-suite executives regarding strategic data and reporting requirements.

• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools for accelerating query development, documentation, and preparation of client-related content.

• Must successfully pass a background check.

• Must comply with the Evisions Information Security Management System.

• Ability to remain stationary for up to 50% of the time is required.

• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

• A current U.S. passport is required.
