Professional Learning Specialist, Central

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Act as a product specialist and offer educators tailored implementation strategies suited to classroom requirements.

• Collaborate with school and district leaders to design and conduct both virtual and in-person professional development sessions.

• Travel to conduct in-person professional development workshops at schools and districts, with travel requirements reaching up to 60% during the back-to-school season and up to 40% throughout the rest of the year.

• Organize, host, and present at regional IXL Live events.

• Work alongside the events team to guarantee smooth and engaging events.

• Partner with the sales team to assist schools in piloting IXL.

• Collaborate with customer success and sales team members to nurture and expand customer relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Over 5 years of teaching experience in a K-12 environment.

• Strongly preferred experience in educational professional development.

• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills; must exhibit a dynamic, enthusiastic, upbeat, positive, and collaborative demeanor.

• Highly organized, methodical, and attentive to detail.

• Capability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously from initiation to completion.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Proficiency in using Google Apps and Zoom.

• Must reside near a major airport.

• Must be based in the greater Phoenix, Arizona area.
