Professional Learning Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Act as a subject matter expert on the product and offer educators tailored implementation strategies suited to their classroom requirements.

• Collaborate with school and district administrators to design and deliver both virtual and face-to-face professional development sessions.

• Travel to various schools and districts to conduct in-person professional development workshops, with travel demands reaching up to 60% during the back-to-school period and approximately 40% for the remainder of the year.

• Organize, host, and present at regional IXL Live events in partnership with the events team.

• Work alongside the sales team to assist schools in piloting IXL.

• Collaborate with customer success and sales teams to nurture and expand customer relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required.

• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a K-12 environment.

• Experience in educational professional development is highly preferred.

• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Highly organized, systematic, and detail-oriented.

• Capability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously from inception to completion.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Proficient in using Google Apps and Zoom.

• Must reside near a major airport.
