Professional Learning Manager – State Support

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee a group of Professional Learning Facilitators

β€’ Take full responsibility for coaching facilitators as they move past onboarding

β€’ Conduct initial observation cycles within the first 60 days

β€’ Facilitate structured coaching cycles in alignment with the Criteria for Success

β€’ Identify and evaluate performance trends among seasoned facilitators

β€’ Reinforce preparation routines and support the adaptation of state-specific messaging

β€’ Coach on advanced facilitation techniques, including off-script adaptability, adaptive questioning, and articulating key concepts

β€’ Test approved state-specific messaging modifications and provide feedback to the Professional Development Content team

β€’ Lead critical sessions within significant partnerships

β€’ Analyze observation data and educator feedback from a state-level perspective

β€’ Highlight state-level trends and execution insights to guide content improvements

β€’ Collaborate with the Director of Professional Learning regarding facilitator readiness

β€’ Convert readiness evidence into long-term development strategies

β€’ Supervise 3–5 Professional Learning Facilitators

β€’ Report directly to the Professional Learning Operations Director


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A minimum of 7 years of experience in education or professional learning

β€’ At least 2 to 3 years specifically in a coaching or personnel development capacity

β€’ Experience in managing or supporting large-scale implementations, such as state-level or substantial district contracts

β€’ Proven ability to utilize observation rubrics or "Criteria for Success" to drive measurable growth in others

β€’ Strong proficiency in converting qualitative observation data into clear, actionable reports for leadership

β€’ BA/BS in Education, Math, or a related field

β€’ Capability to manage a cohort of facilitators

β€’ Proficiency in coaching advanced facilitation skills, including off-script adaptability, adaptive questioning, and framing key concepts

β€’ Ability to tailor messaging to meet state-specific requirements

β€’ Capacity to function in a high-stakes, high-visibility environment

β€’ Willingness to travel up to 90% weekly, year-round

β€’ Eligibility to work in one of the approved states: CA, FL, IL, LA, MA, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, TX, SC, WA, WI
