Production Manager – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Strategize, monitor, and coordinate central initiatives throughout the portfolio.

• Assist leadership in ensuring structured oversight and alignment with both studio and company priorities.

• Aid leaders and development teams in articulating production challenges, risks, and opportunities.

• Offer dedicated support on high-priority initiatives.

• Collaborate across studios to implement process enhancements.

• Monitor leadership commitments and highlight any risks or misalignment.

• Create and maintain reporting frameworks to enhance leadership visibility.

• Ensure that project information is precise, actionable, and readily accessible for informed decision-making.

• Support and oversee studio reviews along with leadership forums.

• Provide structured communication to facilitate executive decision-making.

• Document and standardize production processes and workflows.

• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and minimize operational friction.

• Partner with central teams to align tools, processes, and operational methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in Project Management within game development or game publishing.

• Excellent communication skills with the capability to articulate complex concepts clearly.

• Experience in cross-functional, collaborative settings.

• Demonstrated ability to handle ambiguity and drive progress in dynamic situations.

• Strong organizational skills and prioritization capabilities.

• Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall) and associated tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana).

• Ability to swiftly comprehend new projects and contribute effectively.

• Background in production, product, program management, or operations is preferred.

• Experience in supporting leadership decision-making or executive operating rhythms is preferred.

• Familiarity with scaling processes and best practices across teams is preferred.
