This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Offer on-site technical support to address issues.
• Foster robust customer relationships and enhance customer loyalty to the Sandvik brand.
• Travel throughout the Sandvik ANZ region to provide technical assistance to employees and clients.
• Conduct technical training for the service network on operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Assist end users, operators, and service staff with intricate technical challenges.
• Relay feedback to Technical Support Managers and Factory Product Engineering for improvements in equipment or operations.
• Aid in the precise collection of data for warranty claims and engineering enhancements.
• Collaborate with the Parts organization to review spare parts recommendations.
• Supply information that supports accurate Machine Life Operating Costs (MLOC).
• Investigate warranty claims in both proactive and reactive manners.
• Conduct around 70% of training in a classroom setting and 30% as one-on-one onsite operational training.
• Relevant Mechanical and/or Electrical Trade Certificate (or equivalent).
• At least seven years of post-trade experience within underground mining operations.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
• Advanced knowledge and practical experience with Sandvik equipment relevant to the department or division.
• Previous experience in a similar position is highly preferred.
• Confidence in delivering technical training to maintenance staff and equipment operators.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with relevant computer systems.
• Ability to perform under pressure and respond swiftly to operational demands while adhering to time constraints.
• Adaptability and flexibility.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively as part of a diverse, integrated team.
