This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Take ownership of and enhance the business insights and reporting strategy for ProMetrix.
• Create, develop, maintain, and improve dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reports utilizing Tableau, SAP BusinessObjects, and other relevant reporting tools.
• Convert underwriting inquiries and business requirements into reporting specifications, KPIs, data definitions, and actionable visualizations.
• Analyze usage of ProMetrix products, customer engagement, operational performance, and commercial property data.
• Collaborate with commercial underwriters, product leaders, operations, risk engineering, sales, marketing, and customer-facing teams.
• Deliver findings and recommendations to business users and leadership.
• Validate report logic and data outputs, investigate anomalies, and resolve reporting or data quality issues in conjunction with data and technology teams.
• Establish reporting definitions, documentation, refresh expectations, and governance protocols.
• Collect user feedback and translate it into prioritized enhancements for reporting.
• Develop business requirements and Jira user stories, set acceptance criteria, and assist in user acceptance testing.
• Work collaboratively with IT, data, and development teams in an agile environment.
• Assist in customer discussions, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and sales opportunities.
• Contribute to the ProMetrix roadmap and backlog, overseeing reporting, analytics, and business insight capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, product analysis, commercial insurance, or a related field.
• Practical experience in building and maintaining dashboards and reports using Tableau, SAP BusinessObjects, or similar business intelligence platforms.
• Ability to interpret business inquiries, identify relevant metrics, and communicate findings through clear data visualizations and concise narratives.
• Experience in gathering and documenting reporting requirements, defining metrics, and validating outputs with business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with data structures, report development, data validation, and common business intelligence concepts.
• Exceptional critical-thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to explain technical or analytical information to business audiences.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across product, underwriting, operations, data, design, and engineering teams.
• Preferred experience in commercial property or commercial lines underwriting.
• Familiarity with SQL, data preparation, semantic layers, or querying structured datasets is an advantage.
• Experience with ThoughtSpot Cloud and Amazon Quick is preferred.
