Product Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Perform both automated and manual security evaluations and penetration testing on web, mobile, and conventional applications.

• Review source code in various programming languages to detect vulnerabilities and advise on remediation strategies before and after production launch.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to assess, prioritize, and address application vulnerabilities.

• Maintain threat models and develop security automation processes to enhance security testing workflows.

• Work in partnership with product and development teams to integrate secure coding methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Expand security coverage and manage the triage of findings.

• Engage directly with global engineering teams located in the US and Brazil.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Application Security, Penetration Testing, or Red Teaming.

• Extensive hands-on experience with both automated and manual penetration testing for web, mobile, and traditional applications.

• Proven capability to read and analyze source code in multiple languages, including Ruby, PHP, Go, JavaScript, or Python.

• Comprehensive understanding of web application vulnerabilities, including OWASP Top 10 and CWE.

• Fundamental grasp of core information security principles.

• Excellent technical communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• A collaborative and open approach with a strong emphasis on teamwork and positive group dynamics.
