This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +44 more states.
β’ Take charge of the execution of the product roadmap for a designated focus area or product line.
β’ Transform strategic goals into clear, actionable development plans.
β’ Collaborate with Development Managers on sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and defining release scope.
β’ Identify and prioritize customer pain points utilizing ITWβs Customer-Back Innovation framework.
β’ Convert customer insights into product specifications and features.
β’ Validate concepts directly with users and iterate based on their feedback.
β’ Create and manage user stories that include well-defined acceptance criteria.
β’ Prioritize, refine, and sustain the development backlog.
β’ Work alongside UX/UI teams to ensure designs align with user needs and business goals.
β’ Engage daily with Product Management, Engineering, QA, Development, and UI/UX Design teams.
β’ Lead standups, sprint planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives.
β’ Coordinate with support and implementation teams to ensure successful releases.
β’ Develop a deep understanding of component manufacturing workflows and Alpine tools.
β’ Observe real-world customer interactions to guide product decisions.
β’ Ensure that delivered features meet acceptance criteria and fulfill customer expectations.
β’ Assist in user acceptance testing, documentation, and readiness for release.
β’ Supervise customer beta trials to validate product value and usability.
β’ Report on progress, risks, and dependencies at monthly CBI gate meetings.
β’ Champion customer advocacy within development teams.
β’ Maintain transparency regarding sprint outcomes, priorities, and progress on the roadmap.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
β’ Over 4 years of experience in a Product Owner role or a similar capacity within a development team.
β’ Certification as a Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) is preferred.
β’ Experience in software product strategy and management with a proven track record of delivering value.
β’ Familiarity with complex customer environments and/or relevant industry experience.
β’ Proven experience leading software product development in an Agile setting utilizing frameworks like Scrum and SAFe.
β’ Strong skills in team/project management, communication, and presentation.
β’ Self-driven, enthusiastic, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
β’ Ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic environment.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
