Product Owner, Test Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee, organize, and advance the comprehensive test management for LOTTO Niedersachsen’s digital sales initiatives.

• Craft and consistently refine testing strategies, processes, and methodologies, emphasizing end-to-end process and scenario testing throughout complete customer journeys in digital sales.

• Enhance and utilize existing test management and automation tools in close partnership with both external and internal development and QA teams.

• Guarantee software quality through organized test planning, execution, documentation, and analysis, while transparently communicating the quality status to stakeholders.

• Manage functional test activities for respective releases, including coordinating user acceptance tests with business units and customer management.

• Evaluate defects and test outcomes, deriving sustainable solutions to enhance quality.

• Establish and promote best practices in software testing, continuously improving test processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in (Business) Computer Science or a relevant IT vocational qualification with excellent results.

• Professional experience in software testing and/or test management, preferably within the digital or e-commerce sector.

• Familiarity with common test management tools and, ideally, experience with test automation.

• A strong passion for software testing and a commitment to engaging deeply with quality aspects and testing processes.

• Ideally, certifications in software testing, such as ISTQB or similar.

• An analytical mindset complemented by a self-sufficient and meticulous working style.

• Confident and respectful communication skills with stakeholders, internal business units, external service providers, and team members.

• A high level of commitment and the ability to work independently.
