📋 Description

• Spearhead the strategy, discovery, development, and implementation of digital products that enhance forecasting, planning, scenario evaluation, and intricate business decision-making.

• Convert Amgen’s digital strategy into product visions, roadmaps, prioritized backlogs, and measurable outcomes.

• Comprehend customer decisions, workflows, assumptions, and planning challenges across Commercial, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and R&D.

• Frame intricate business challenges as product opportunities involving forecasting, optimization, simulation, scenario planning, automation, or AI-enabled decision support.

• Collaborate with business leaders, data scientists, engineers, architects, and designers to create scalable digital products.

• Make assumptions, uncertainties, trade-offs, and model outputs clear and actionable.

• Track model performance, adoption rates, and business outcomes.

• Influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional teams around product vision, roadmap, and success metrics.

• Identify prospects for generative AI, agentic capabilities, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation while ensuring responsible AI practices and human oversight.

• Establish operating rhythms, decision rights, documentation, and communication practices for globally distributed teams.

• Propel product adoption and value realization by assessing business performance, efficiency, decision-making, and user experience.

• Mentor product managers and foster an outcome-driven product culture.


⛳️ Requirements

• Doctorate degree with 2 years of Digital Product Management experience OR Master’s degree with 6 years of Digital Product Management experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of Digital Product Management experience OR Associate’s degree with 10 years of Digital Product Management experience OR High school diploma / GED with 12 years of Digital Product Management experience.

• At least 2 years of experience directly managing personnel and/or leadership experience in guiding teams, projects, programs, or managing resource allocation.

• Demonstrated digital product leadership that connects business strategy, customer needs, data analytics, and technology.

• Experience in leading data-centric, analytical, or decision-support products from discovery through launch, adoption, and scaling.

• Skill in translating complex decisions, planning workflows, and analytical techniques into product strategies and customer experiences.

• Strong customer-first and outcome-driven approach.

• Proficiency in applying Agile methodologies to multidisciplinary product, data science, and engineering teams.

• Robust understanding of technology ecosystems, enterprise data platforms, and principles of digital architecture.

• Experience with forecasting, predictive analytics, optimization, simulation, scenario planning, machine learning, or other advanced analytical capabilities.

• Ability to collaborate with data scientists and technical teams and convey model outputs, uncertainties, and limitations to non-technical stakeholders.

• Preferred experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, healthcare, consumer products, manufacturing, supply chain, or another complex planning environment.

• Capability to lead cross-functional product teams and drive execution without solely relying on formal authority.

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and navigate competing priorities.

• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and storytelling abilities.

• Experience working with globally distributed teams across various time zones.

• Experience mentoring product managers or other senior individual contributors.
