Product Owner – NPS, New Product Setup

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee and sustain the product backlog for NPS-related initiatives.

• Assist in sprint execution by enhancing work items and collaborating with development teams.

• Draft user stories and secure approval from the process owner prior to finalizing work for development.

• Organize testing activities, including UAT preparation, issue tracking, and feedback aggregation.

• Gather business feedback and convert it into actionable updates for the backlog.

• Aid in release readiness and production deployment tasks.

• Collaborate with requirements and process resources to ensure story readiness before development commences.

• Help guarantee that work entering development is clearly defined, prioritized, and aligned with business needs.

• Utilize Jira for managing work intake, prioritization, and sprint tracking.

• Employ SQL as necessary to assist with analysis, validation, or investigation of business and system data.

• Work cross-functionally with business, process, and technical teams to achieve delivery goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• More than 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar delivery role within an Agile environment.

• At least 3 years of experience supporting agile delivery, sprint execution, testing, and release coordination.

• Proficient in Jira.

• Basic knowledge of SQL.

• Experience in supporting enterprise workflow, product setup, or business process transformation initiatives is preferred.

• Familiarity with working alongside cross-functional stakeholders in product, process, or systems contexts.

• Knowledge of Appian or similar workflow/low-code platforms is preferred.

• Background in managing backlogs in a multi-stakeholder setting.

• Experience in manufacturing, consumer products, or related enterprise environments is preferred.

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe PO/PM, or equivalent certification is preferred.

• Skills in backlog management and prioritization.

• Support for sprint execution.

• Coordination of UAT and defect tracking.

• Assistance with release readiness and deployment.

• Validation of requirements and assessment of story readiness.

• Coordination with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work efficiently across business and technical teams.
