Product Owner, German – Bootcamp

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Define, oversee, and deliver digital product specifications that align with business goals and promote operational excellence within the financial sector.

• Identify, evaluate, and shape business requirements to provide measurable value and enhance end-to-end processes.

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog and roadmap effectively.

• Balance business value, risks, dependencies, and operational limitations.

• Facilitate discovery workshops to gather insights.

• Analyze current processes and design optimized future solutions.

• Translate intricate needs into process flows, user journeys, and system interactions.

• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Encourage collaboration and clarify requirements within cross-functional teams.

• Convert requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.

• Work in partnership with internal teams and external vendors.

• Prepare comprehensive requirement packages and validate the solutions provided.

• Assist in UAT cycles, training, and communication efforts.

• Drive the adoption of new capabilities across the organization.

• Provide ongoing support for applications.

• Analyze recurring issues and translate insights into enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Product Ownership and/or Business Analysis.

• Demonstrated history of delivering enterprise-level solutions.

• Experience in transitioning between various roles effectively.

• Ability to comprehend business contexts and translate them into actionable results.

• Hands-on experience in leading discovery initiatives.

• Proficient in defining business processes.

• Skillful in navigating complex stakeholder environments.

• Strong background in evaluating solution options (existing tools vs. custom development).

• Capable of making recommendations based on value, feasibility, and cost considerations.

• Proficient in transforming complex business and process requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery milestones.

• Experience in managing UAT cycles and coordinating with stakeholders.

• Proven ability to drive adoption among diverse user groups.

• Strong operational mindset, including post-deployment support, user interaction management, and continuous improvement.

• Excellent communication skills in both English and German.

• Regular use of AI tools to enhance productivity, automate or minimize repetitive tasks, support decision-making, and deliver superior outcomes.

• Ability to utilize AI tools responsibly, structure effective prompts, validate outputs, understand limitations, and take ownership of the final results.
