Product Owner, Fintech Experienced – Cards Acquiring, Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of product strategy and the development of CP and e-commerce acquiring, which includes both POS and unattended solutions.

• Assess market trends, customer requirements, and competitor actions to pinpoint growth opportunities.

• Spearhead product planning, development, testing, launches, and ongoing optimization efforts.

• Manage acquiring economics, merchant pricing, interchange, scheme fees, processor costs, and overall profitability.

• Lead cross-functional teams, evaluate technical solutions, make informed product decisions, and oversee external partnerships.

• Create scalable processes and guarantee effective operational handovers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Management within payments, fintech, banking, or financial services.

• Demonstrated experience in CP/POS acquiring products and a solid understanding of e-commerce acquiring.

• Knowledge of CP/CNP acquiring, processing, authorization, settlement, and the card-payment ecosystem.

• Familiarity with processors, POS vendors, gateways, acquirers, and card schemes.

• Understanding of Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Apple Pay, Google Pay, acquiring economics, and pertinent regulations.

• Strong analytical, commercial, strategic, communication, and leadership skills.

• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

• Experience with Open Banking/A2A, SQL, databases, SDLC, Jira, and Confluence is a plus.
