This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Act as a Product Owner, business consultant, and intermediary among Government stakeholders, business users, technical teams, and contracted personnel throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Offer subject matter expertise in CMS, Medicare, Medicaid, and other Federal Healthcare initiatives.
• Evaluate business processes and workflows, identify gaps and areas for improvement, and suggest functional and technological solutions.
• Convert healthcare policies, regulations, and operational requirements into business, functional, and system specifications.
• Establish product vision and set priorities.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog.
• Create and enhance user stories while defining acceptance criteria.
• Ensure that requirements are in line with business goals.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders and Agile team members during product planning, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing enhancement.
• Lead or engage in backlog refinement, sprint planning, requirements-gathering sessions, product demonstrations, release planning, and stakeholder evaluations.
• Advocate for business and end-user needs throughout the Agile/Scrum lifecycle.
• Provide guidance and clarification to development teams.
• Assess completed functionalities against requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Assist in product acceptance and implementation decisions.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process enhancement, data-driven decision-making, modeling, best practices, and standardized procedures.
• Integrate suitable solutions into the system development lifecycle.
• Comply with company information security requirements.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
• Must have resided in the United States for at least three (3) of the last five (5) years.
• Subject matter expertise concerning CMS, Medicare, Medicaid, and other Federal Healthcare programs.
• Familiarity with program integrity, regulatory, operational, and business processes.
• Experience in analyzing business processes and workflows.
• Capability to translate Medicare, Medicaid, and Federal Healthcare policies, regulations, and operational requirements into business, functional, and system specifications.
• Experience as a Product Owner, including product vision, backlog prioritization, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Government stakeholders, business SMEs, architects, developers, analysts, QA teams, and other Agile team members.
• Ability to recognize relationships among business processes, tasks, systems, data, stakeholders, and resources.
