Product Owner – Automation and Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and prioritize the product backlog utilizing Jira and/or Azure DevOps.

• Create actionable user stories complete with defined acceptance criteria.

• Define and articulate the product vision and roadmap for proactive network management.

• Collaborate with solution architects, software developers, and cross-functional stakeholders to convert business needs into technical requirements.

• Lead requirements-gathering sessions with internal operations teams and DoD customers.

• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.

• Conduct stakeholder reviews and demonstrations.

• Manage competing priorities and make informed, data-driven decisions for feature prioritization.

• Take part in Agile Release Train and Program Increment planning activities.

• Support SAFe ceremonies, such as PI planning, system demonstrations, and inspect-and-adapt workshops.

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Collaborate on planning and resolving cross-team dependencies.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Splunk dashboards, alert optimization, and data analytics.

• Support AI and ML initiatives aimed at operational enhancements.

• Identify opportunities for automation to minimize manual processes and enhance operational efficiency.

• Advocate for proactive monitoring and predictive analytics solutions.

• Ensure the delivery of technology solutions that yield measurable business and operational value.

• Guarantee that product decisions and implementations adhere to DoD security requirements and organizational policies.

• Maintain an active Secret security clearance and manage classified information in accordance with established protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Engineering, Business, Information Systems).

• Over 8 years of combined experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar role within Agile teams.

• Proficient in managing work using Azure DevOps or Jira.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).

• Strong analytical abilities to assess processes and pinpoint areas for enhancement.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification is preferred.

• Experience working with or supporting clients in the government or defense sector is preferred.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred.
