Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee tasks and collaborate closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and engineering teams to develop scalable and compliant enterprise products.

• Collaborate with engineers and the business to establish expertise in core platform services and compliance products.

• Manage the product backlog for document lifecycle and compliance domains from start to finish, encompassing roadmap, prioritization, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release readiness.

• Drive product initiatives to ensure the platform aligns with evolving global regulatory and compliance standards.

• Create clear and detailed product specifications for new features.

• Express user stories, develop API specifications and mockups, and determine feature metrics.

• Produce comprehensive documentation and offer training to internal stakeholders to enhance product adoption.

• Implement the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for core platform capabilities, search functionalities, and related compliance products.

• Establish business objectives and metrics to assess progress and feature success.

• Communicate feature releases and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the organization.

• Assist in the rollout of new solutions and features, including stakeholder communication and training sessions.

• Collaborate with engineering on technical trade-offs and convey those trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager focusing on platform, invoicing, or compliance-driven products within B2B SaaS or enterprise software.

• Extensive domain knowledge in document lifecycle management and global compliance regulations.

• Proven experience in driving discovery and prioritization where requirements stem from compliance, legal, or partner organizations.

• Strong technical literacy and the capacity to translate complex architectural requirements into product value.

• Ability to collaborate with engineering on technical decisions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to drive results in a global, distributed environment across various time zones and stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.

• Prior experience in fintech, financial services, supply chain finance, or enterprise B2B is highly preferred.

• Practical experience with S/4HANA integration, SAP Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG), SAP Business Network, SAP Ariba, or other SAP procure-to-pay/order-to-cash products is a plus.
